Hold a Baby, No Way!!!

“WAAAAAA!” I heard a weep but i didn’t know where from.  My Grandma stood up and walked to the extra room in the house, then she came out with baby  Brylee  I had forgotten she was born 3 weeks before.

Mimi started to feed her, then she burped her.  Mimi had been silent while feeding her and burping so when she asked me if I wanted to hold her it startled me.  I hesitated but said “Sure”.

I held her for two hours, carefully examining her tiny face her hair was the beautiful color blonde, her eyes were as blue as the sky, her lips were a soft pink like a rose.  Her skin was so soft, almost as soft as her fleece blanket.  I held her so long that my arms started to hurt but it was worth it because I will never forget the moment when she clutched my finger close to her heart.

Now I will know not to be afraid to try new things like holding babys
